Ahmed Ghanem is a Programme Specialist in Disability Inclusive Humanitarian Action at UNICEF since January 2020, bringing extensive experience in health policy, rehabilitation, and disability services. Prior to this role, Ahmed served as a Consultant at UNDP and held multiple positions at Handicap International, including Regional Technical Coordinator, where support was provided to enhance access to health services for persons with disabilities across the Middle East. Ahmed co-founded Kayan Society for Children with Disabilities and has held leadership roles in various organizations, showcasing a commitment to inclusive development. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Global Health Policy from The Heller School at Brandeis University and a Master of Public Policy and Management from the University of York, along with a diploma in Quality Management and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Cairo University.
