Ana Yekenha Ernesto

Ana Yekenha Ernesto is a Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Specialist at UNICEF since May 2023. Prior to this role, Ana served as the Head of External Communications a.i. and Communications and Advocacy Officer at the United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office in Angola from October 2022 to May 2023, where responsibilities included developing communication strategies and creative products. Ana has also contributed to the United Nations Development Programme as a Communications Assistant, focusing on communication strategies and social media management from September 2019 to October 2022. Earlier, Ana held positions at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Angola, including Chief of Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Justice and Consultant, as well as working as a Journalist for Diário de Notícias. Ana is currently pursuing a master's degree in Communication, Culture, and Information Technologies at Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, building on an educational background that includes postgraduate studies in Journalism and a licentiate degree in Journalism.
