JELENA (Vladicic) Jovanovic serves as the Regional Senior Adviser for Public and Private Partnerships at UNICEF since October 2015, leading strategies to generate sustainable income and foster partnerships for children in Eastern and Southern Africa. JELENA held the position of Senior Advisor for Humanitarian Financing and Partnerships, where responsibilities included strategic positioning of UNICEF in humanitarian contexts and coordinating resource mobilization efforts. Prior to UNICEF, JELENA worked at UNDP in various roles focused on resource mobilization and crisis prevention, contributing significantly to fundraising efforts and establishing coherent donor relations. Early career experiences included roles at UNAIDS and OCHA, providing support in donor relations and office management. JELENA holds a Master's degree in Economics from Alfa University.
