M Bickel

M Bickel has extensive experience in human resources and marketing, with a prominent career spanning several notable organizations. Currently serving as Chief of People & Culture and Chief of Recruitment at UNICEF since April 2003, M Bickel leads strategic HR initiatives and international recruitment for UNICEF's global operations. Prior to UNICEF, M Bickel contributed to the Asian Development Bank as HR Manager from September 1998 to April 2003, and also held positions including Senior HR Officer at The World Bank for a brief period in 2002. Earlier career roles involved significant marketing and training responsibilities at Reuters from 1988 to 1997, as well as a marketing role at First American Bank in Hong Kong. M Bickel holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics and Southeast Asian Studies from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
