Martin Worth has extensive experience in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) management, notably with UNICEF since 2005. Currently serving as Chief WASH, Martin manages the WASH programme for Papua New Guinea. Prior roles include leading UNICEF's WASH response to the Rohingya refugee emergency in Bangladesh and managing the WASH component of the Eritrea Country Programme. Martin's experience also includes coordination of emergency WASH efforts in Kenya and overseeing WASH activities in South Sudan during Operation Lifeline. Additional professional background includes project management in civil engineering with Alistair Burroughs Design Partnership Limited, and a Water & Sanitation Programme Manager role at Concern Worldwide in East Timor. Martin holds an MSc in Infrastructure Engineering from Cranfield University and a BSc in Engineering Product Design from London South Bank University, along with an HND in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry Technical College.
