Reuben Sapetulu

Reuben Sapetulu is an experienced advocate with a focus on youth engagement, climate change, and sustainable development. Currently serving as an Associate Member at CIVICUS and a Climate Change Advocate with MIET Africa and UN CC Learn, Reuben has coordinated significant programs such as the Youth Climate Dialogue. As Chair of the Board of Directors for Rethink Youth Platform, Reuben has led various initiatives promoting youth dialogue on Sustainable Development Goals. Additional roles include Learning and Impact Coordinator at ActionAid Zambia, Youth Delegate for LDC5 with the Young Voice of the Youth Campaign, and Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Youth Association of Zambia. Reuben has also held leadership positions at Global Platform Zambia and served as President of the University of Zambia United Nations Youth Association. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Human Rights, Governance, and Development from University of Zambia, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology of Education and Civic Education.
