Tambe Honourine Enow

Tambe Honourine Enow serves as a Programme Specialist in the Climate Change and Environment Unit at UNICEF, where responsibilities include leading the decarbonization efforts across various operational sectors and providing programmatic support. Enow is also a member of the Multidisciplinary Expert Scientific Advisory Group for the GEO-7 Assessment at the UN Environment Programme, contributing to critical evaluations regarding global environmental trends. As the founder of the Africa Climate and Environment Foundation, Enow focuses on promoting youth-led initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Africa. Previous roles include advisory board member for the UN Climate Technology Centre and Network, founder of Enow Business and Environmental Consulting, and researcher with YOUNGO. Enow's educational background includes a Doctorate in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies from both the University of Lisbon and Universidade Nova de Lisboa, along with a Master’s in Bioscience Engineering and postgraduate studies in Weather and Climate Modeling from Ghent University.
