Juan Espinoza serves as the Senior Civil Rights Advisor at UnidosUS, focusing on advancing voting rights and Latino voter protection. Previous experience includes an Equal Justice Works Fellowship at Public Counsel, where legal actions were taken against the City of Los Angeles for street vendor rights. As Director for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, Juan coordinated recruitment efforts and raised awareness for free legal services. Additional roles include law clerk positions at ACLU SoCal and Public Counsel, providing direct legal aid and transactional support, respectively. Juan's earlier experience in the entertainment industry involved producing various projects and managing operations for notable productions. Educational accomplishments include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Master’s in Communication from Universidad Iberoamericana.

UnidosUS (formerly National Council of La Raza, NCLR)—the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States—works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans. Through its network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations (CBOs), UnidosUS reaches millions of Hispanics each year in 41 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. To achieve its mission, UnidosUS conducts applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy, providing a Latino perspective in five key areas—assets/investments, civil rights/immigration, education, employment and economic status, and health. In addition, it provides capacity-building assistance to its Affiliates who work at the state and local level to advance opportunities for individuals and families.
