Dave Gates

Dave Gates has an extensive work experience spanning several industries. Dave is currently working at UniFocus as the Sr. VP of Restaurant Development, where they focus on driving sales growth and product development in the Restaurant and Hotel verticals. Dave maintains a client base of 20 accounts and collaborates with product development to integrate new solutions.

Prior to their current role, Dave owned a franchise at Device Pitstop USA from 2015 to 2021. Dave also worked as a Consultant at The Productivity Advantage from 2017 to 2020, where they secured contracts with large restaurant organizations and supported them on various initiatives.

Dave has a long history with Red Robin, starting in 1995. Dave held various roles within the company, including VP of Enterprise Transformation, VP of Operation Services & New Restaurant Operations, VP of New Restaurant Operations, VP of Operations, Regional Vice President of Operations, and Regional Operations Director. Dave was responsible for managing teams, opening new Red Robin locations, and implementing continuous improvement strategies.

Dave also gained experience working at Applebee's and McDonald's earlier in their career as a General Manager at both establishments. At McDonald's, they specifically worked in the Drive-Through department.
