Pete Castellano has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1992, they began as an Account Executive at American Business Information/infoUSA. From 1991 to 1995, they worked as a Trainer at Computer Systems/Connecting Point, Inc., where they trained computer users on various software packages. In 1993, they served as an Assistant to Hon. Donald G. Preister in the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature, handling legislative initiatives and constituent services. From 1995 to 2001, they worked as State Staff for Hon. J. Robert Kerrey in the United States Senate, performing outreach activities and coordinating special projects. In 2001, they worked as a Special Projects Coordinator in the City of Omaha Mayor's Office. Pete also co-founded Back to the River, Inc. in 2001, focusing on economic development and environmental restoration in Omaha. From 2001 to 2009, they held various roles at Ameristar Casino Hotel Council Bluffs, including Restaurant Associate Manager and Business Performance Manager, where they implemented labor management technology and developed labor standards. From 2007 to 2012, they served as a Board Member for Micah House, an emergency homeless shelter. In 2009, they joined Unifocus as a Senior Workforce Performance Consultant, providing management consulting services on workforce planning and analysis. Currently, they are working at Unifocus as a Client Success Manager, playing a critical role in the rollout and sustainability of workforce management solutions for partners. Throughout their career, Pete Castellano has been involved in community service and advocacy, including their work at Micah House and Back to the River, Inc.
Pete Castellano attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1984 to 1991. Pete earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science during this period.
