Chris Hawley

Chris Hawley has held various roles in the engineering field since 2010. In 2010, they were a Software Engineer at MerchantCircle, where they automated email workflows and implemented a bayesian filter to remove spam from the network. In 2011, they were a Software Engineer at Circle of Moms, where they were part of a 6-person engineering team focused on SEO, user growth, and blogger programs. Chris learned a lot about A/B testing, AWS, and Redis. In 2012, they joined POPSUGAR as a Software Engineer and held various roles, including VP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, Senior Manager of Engineering and Technical Lead, and Manager of Engineering and Technical Lead. In 2021, they became the VP of Engineering at Uniform Teeth, where they were responsible for supporting the Engineering, Product, Design, Data, and IT disciplines and optimizing customer acquisition channels. In October 2022, Uniform Teeth was acquired by Impress. In 2020, Chris Hawley was an Advisor, advising early stage companies to fill technical gaps in executive teams in industries including education, fintech, e-commerce, and media.

Chris Hawley attended Stevenson School from 2003 to 2006 where they earned their high school diploma. Chris then attended Trinity College-Hartford from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
