Andrew Brunskill has held various engineering and management roles since 2004. Andrew began their career as a Manufacturing Engineer in Training at Cooper-Standard Automotive, followed by a role as an Engineer in Training at Curtiss Wright Controls. In 2006, they were a Process Analysis and Simulation Engineer at Stelco, and in 2007 they were a Design Engineer in Training at Ontario Drive & Gear Ltd. In 2008, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Guelph Wind Engineering Laboratory and a part-time Engineering Consultant at Mistaya Engineering Inc. From 2010 to 2015, they were a Project Manager and Engineer and WindFarmer Specialist at DNV GL. During this time, they completed DNV GL Energy Project Manager II training and prepared proposals for 15+ projects with a high success rate. Andrew also completed technical analyses/reports for 100+ wind or solar projects. Since 2017, they have been the Director of Data Science, Co-founder, and Office of the CTO at Clir Renewables, where they have led several teams and originated, developed, and/or automated many of Clir's most popular analytics and software features.
Andrew Brunskill received their B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2008. From 2003 to 2008 they attended the University of Waterloo. Prior to that, they attended Stratford Central Secondary School from 1998 to 2003. Andrew then went on to receive their M.A.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph in 2010.
