Betty Sulty Johnson

Betty Sulty Johnson is a seasoned producer with a strong commitment to promoting ethnocultural diversity in film and media. Currently a Producer at HABEBO STUDIOS, Johnson focuses on amplifying diverse narratives from Africa and French overseas territories. Active in the cinematic community, Johnson is a member of the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma and serves as a jury member for the MIPCOM Diversify TV Awards. With past roles including Vice President of Global Sales and Co-production and content distribution at TRACE Studios, Johnson has played a key role in developing Afro-centered content and fostering co-production opportunities. Johnson’s extensive experience also includes committee work for the CNC's Images of Diversity Fund and positions at Lagardère Studios and Tetra Media Studio, complemented by academic credentials in Film Studies and Business Affairs from renowned Paris institutions.
