Gregory Bonamour has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Gregory currently serves as the Financial Director at Unifund CCR starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Eden Capital as the CFO from 2016 to 2022, where they oversaw private equity and hedge fund operations. In 2013 to 2016, they were the Manager of Financial Planning at EDF Renewable Energy, responsible for financial forecasting and investment planning. Gregory also worked as a Financial Analyst at EDF Renewable Energy (formerly enXco) from 2011 to 2013. Before that, they held the position of CFO at Unifund, a family office based in Geneva specializing in emerging markets and private equity. Gregory started their career at Merrill Lynch as a Vice President from 1997 to 2003. Prior to that, they worked as an Audit Manager at Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte & Touche - South Africa.
Gregory Bonamour completed their education history with a Bachelor of Commerce (B/Comm) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they studied from 1988 to 1990. In 1991, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the same institution. Later on, from 1999 to 2003, Gregory obtained a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) degree in Finance and Investment from the CFA Institute.
