Alicia Wyllie has extensive experience in corporate communications and public relations. Starting in 1994, they worked as a senior reporter and news editor at Incisive Media, where they were responsible for managing a team of reporters and developing new content. Alicia then moved on to roles at The Sunday Times and UK-invest.com, writing and editing articles on personal finance and investment issues. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a freelance financial journalist and consultant, providing services to corporate clients in the asset management sector. In 2004, they joined Jupiter Asset Management Limited as Communications Director, overseeing corporate and investment communications in both the UK and internationally. Alicia later served as the Head of Corporate Communications, where they were responsible for running agency relationships, managing PR teams, and overseeing internal and external communications. Alicia then joined Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) as the Co-Head of Corporate Communications before moving to their current role as the Executive Director and Head of Corporate Communications at Unigestion, where they are responsible for building the company's reputation and brand globally. Throughout their career, Alicia has also been involved in various industry committees, including the 30% Club and the Unigestion Responsible Investment Committee.
Alicia Wyllie attended Chesham High School from 1986 to 1988, where they studied Economics, English, and Sociology. Prior to that, they completed their earlier education at Helena Romanes from 1981 to 1986. In terms of certifications, Alicia obtained their Securities and Futures Association qualification (now part of the FCA) in 1999.
