Guillaume Rey

Guillaume Rey, PhD MBA, is a seasoned professional with a robust background in digital innovation, bioinformatics, and scientific research. Currently serving as Manager of Digital & Data Innovation at Unilabs since January 2020, Guillaume also held the position of Scientific Manager in Bioinformatics. As the Co-Founder and CEO of gimini from August 2021 to September 2024, and as a Judge & Mentor at MassChallenge Switzerland in 2022, Guillaume has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Previous roles include Innovation Lead and Co-founder at the Translational Accelerator at the University of Geneva Medical Center, Senior Research Scientist & Lecturer at the University of Geneva, and Research Associate at both The Francis Crick Institute and the University of Cambridge. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Life Sciences from École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Master of Science in Physics, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the same institution.
