Walid Adel

Walid Adel has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Walid began their career in 2002 as a Project Engineer at International Coke and Ferro Alloys Company. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Production Supervisor at Cargill. In 2007, they joined CEMEX Egypt and served as the SH&E Manager before becoming the Plant Manager for Concrete Ready Mix and later the Operations Manager for Concrete Ready Mix until 2015. After that, they joined Masheed Trading & Transport as a Regional Sales Manager from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Unimix Egypt, where they started as an Operations Manager in 2018.

Walid Adel completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Alexandria University, attending from 1995 to 2002. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications over the years. In 2004, they completed the General Industry safety training course offered by OSHA. In 2008, they obtained the International General Certificate IGC from NEBOSH and also became a Defensive driving instructor certified by Smith System USA. Walid'slatest certification was in 2012 when they earned the Lean Black Belt from Symbios.
