Eduardo Sanchez Verdejo

Eduardo Sanchez Verdejo is an experienced professional in the cement industry, currently serving as Gerente General (CEO) of UNACEM Peru and VP Industrial Corporativo at Grupo Unacem since January 2022. Previously, Eduardo held the position of Industrial Director at UNACEM Ecuador from January 2015 to February 2021, and served in various roles at Lafarge Cement from June 1996 to January 2015, including Director Industrial and Alternative Fuels Sourcing Manager. Eduardo's expertise includes managing production, quality, safety, and process optimization at cement plants, with significant contributions to the Lafarge operations in Spain. Eduardo holds a degree from Universidad de Salamanca, where studies were completed between 1986 and 1991.
