Carol Dutra-Vernaci has extensive experience in public service and tax preparation. Serving as Mayor of Union City since 2012, Carol has demonstrated a consistent vision over 17 years in various roles, including Councilmember and Vice Mayor. Additionally, Carol has been a practicing Enrolled Agent since 1984, specializing in income tax services and operating a sole proprietorship in Union City since 1986. Carol holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Certificate in Taxation from California State University - East Bay.
