Darcy Czajka

Darcy Czajka ’00 joined Union College as chief of staff in 2017, bringing a wealth of varied experience to the position.

From 2005 to 2014, Czajka worked at George Washington University, where she served as a management analyst and then as director of organization development and effectiveness. In these roles, she gained valuable management and budget experience as well as skills in marketing and communications, compliance issues and strategic planning. She also assisted departments with performance management, succession planning and change management projects.

From 2014 to 2017, Czajka served as senior director of community engagement for the American Cancer Society’s Eastern Division. In this capacity, she was responsible for board relations, and corporate and municipal community relations, and she also was actively involved in fundraising, budget planning and compliance. Czajka earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and philosophy from Union. She also holds an Ed.M. degree from Harvard University's Graduate School of Education, specializing in educational policy and management.
