Sonia Sandoval

Learning Environments Services Specialist at Union College

Sonia Sandoval is a Learning Environments Services Specialist at Union College. Sonia has also worked as the President of FoodScraps360, as well as the Compost Manager at Empire Zero. Sonia's work experience also includes being a Senior Research Assistant at the NY Natural Heritage Program, where they characterized vegetation, collected water and soil samples, and digitized aerial photography to determine land use in areas adjacent to target wetlands.

Sonia Sandoval pursued a Learning Design and Technology Graduate Certificate from Harvard Extension School. Prior to that, they studied Studio Fine Arts with a focus on Digital Arts from Union College. Sonia also holds a Bachelor of Science from Union College in Environmental Science. In addition, Sonia is certified as a Master Composter/Recycler from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schenectady and as a Certified Technology Specialist from AVIXA.
