Since August 2013, Carolyn has been serving at Union Elementary School District, following two years at Cupertino Union School District and two years at Palo Alto Unified School District. Carolyn's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and further education at Santa Clara University from 2008 to 2011.

Located west of Phoenix, our school district offers a small-town feel with all the advantages of a large school district. We are in a high-growth area and expect only great things to come! Growing Schools The Union Elementary School District No. 62 is a growing district. We currently have three schools to serve our community. Dos Rios is a kindergarten through 8th grade school. Hurley Ranch is a 3rd through 8th grade school. Union Elementary School is a kindergarten through 2nd grade school.
