Muhammad Azhar has extensive experience in internal audit management, currently serving as Senior Manager - Internal Audit at Union Fabrics Pvt. Ltd since June 2020. Previously, Muhammad held various positions at Soorty Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, including Manager - Internal Audit, where responsibilities encompassed leading internal audit teams across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and developing comprehensive audit plans. Muhammad has also contributed to Soorty Textiles Bangladesh on a project basis to transform the internal audit department and has worked in early roles focused on accounts and finance. Muhammad's educational background includes an ACCA qualification and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Karachi University, further complemented by a Certified Accountant Technician designation from ACCA UK.
