Head Of Ethical Sourcing at Union Hand-Roasted Coffee

Pascale Schuit has extensive work experience in the ethical sourcing and sustainable coffee industry. Pascale is currently the Head of Ethical Sourcing at Union Hand-Roasted Coffee since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Sustainable Coffee Sourcing at the same company from March 2011 to May 2022. Pascale has also worked as a visiting researcher at CIAT, focusing on value chains and business models from March 2012 to March 2013. Additionally, they completed their Master's thesis on treating farms as firms at Wageningen University from January 2011 to August 2011. Pascale conducted another Master's thesis on sustainable livelihoods in Costa Rica at CINPE in 2010 and interned at the Dutch Embassy in Costa Rica from October 2009 to March 2010. Pascale had an earlier internship experience at IKV Pax Christi from November 2008 to January 2009.

Pascale Schuit completed their Gymnasium degree in Economics & Society at Lorentz College from 1997 to 2005. Pascale then pursued a Master's degree in International Development and Economics at Wageningen University & Research from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, they attended De Laarhorst from 1989 to 1998, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this institution.
