Camilo Esquivia-Zapata serves as a Senior Bilingual Campaign Organizer and Policy Advocate at the Union of Concerned Scientists since June 2018, with prior experience as an Outreach Coordinator. From May 2015 to June 2018, Camilo worked as a Program Evaluation Consultant at Honest Brokers. Additionally, between July 2016 and August 2017, Camilo was a Design and Development Fellow through the Mel King Community Fellowship at the MIT Community Innovators Lab (CoLab). Camilo holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, where studies were completed from 2012 to 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Benedict College, earned from 2004 to 2008. Camilo's earlier roles include serving as an Administrative Coordinator at the Fund for Protection and Strengthening - Justapaz and as a Sustainability Field Specialist at Sembrandopaz, as well as working as an Environmental Health and Safety Consultant for Turning Bird Consulting.
