Coreen Weintraub is an experienced professional in environmental and public interest advocacy with a focus on grassroots organizing and campaign management. Currently serving as the Western States Associate Director at the Union of Concerned Scientists since August 2015, Coreen has also held roles such as Western States Campaign Manager and Western States Outreach Coordinator within the organization. Prior to this, Coreen worked as a Communications and Event Coordinator at Evolve and has extensive experience as a Canvass Director with the Fund for the Public Interest, where responsibilities included directing regional field offices to support environmental policies and achieve fundraising and recruitment goals. Earlier in the career, Coreen served as a Campus Organizer for Student PIRGs, engaging and mentoring student leaders in social change initiatives. Coreen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from UCLA, obtained in 2010.
