Kaitlyn Merges

Kaitlyn Merges, MSW, currently serves as the General Manager at Union Square Cafe under Union Square Hospitality Group since September 2023, after previously holding the position of Assistant General Manager at the same establishment. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager at K’Far Brooklyn and Cira, both under BOKA Restaurant Group, where responsibilities encompassed leading large teams and managing operational budgets. Kaitlyn also has a background in social work, having worked as a Wrap Around VLAN Case Manager at Metropolitan Family Services and as a Restorative Justice Social Work Intern at Evanston Township High School. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a focus on Forensic Mental Health and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both from Loyola University Chicago.
