George Rivera

George Rivera is currently the Senior Accounts Manager at Union Square Media. Prior to this, they were with Flamingo Software LLC from April 2010 to December 2015, where they were the Accounts Manager. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing efficient operating procedures, business rules, and guidelines for effective management of large assets. George also developed and implemented an accounting system and principles, policies and procedures to aid in fund movement, and bank reconciliation. Additionally, they prepared and ran monthly payroll for the company’s numerous employees, including 940,941, 1099, W-2 and monthly retirement contributions (401K) reporting.

George has always been very detail-oriented and organized, which has served him well in their career in accounting. George is excellent at problem-solving and enjoys working collaboratively with others to find solutions. George is dedicated to their work and takes pride in providing accurate and timely reports.

George Rivera completed an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Miami Dade College. George then pursued a degree in Administration in Accounting from the same school. Afterward, they completed a Business Administration degree from Polytechnic University of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Finally, they earned an Associate of Science - AS in Computer Information System Analysis from Technologic Community College of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Their manager is Joshua Keller, Founding Partner. They work with Ashlee Pendleton - Media Operations Director, Kate Hagan - Director, Marketing OttoInsurance, and Jen Bierman - VP, Publisher Partnerships.
