Heather Hinman

Sr. Director, Operations at Union Street Media

Heather Hinman has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Heather is currently the Sr. Director of Operations at Union Street Media since August 2019. Prior to this, they worked at MyWebGrocer from 2006 to 2019, holding various positions including Senior Manager of Email Marketing, Manager of Email Marketing, Senior Operations Specialist, and Project Manager. During their time at MyWebGrocer, they successfully managed a team of engineers and marketers to execute a multi-million-dollar email program and established lasting relationships with clients and vendors. Heather also provided staff augmentation and mentorship to ensure a smooth management transition. Heather implemented new processes for custom report delivery, leading to increased efficiency and profit for the company, and improved team engagement and morale after a period of high turnover. Before joining MyWebGrocer, Heather worked at Bombardier Capital as an Executive Assistant and Account Manager from 2000 to 2006, and at Bombardier as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator in the Inventory Finance Division from 1996 to 2000. In this role, they maintained communication and reporting for a portfolio worth over $500 million with over 1000 accounts, and was chosen as the lead trainer on a new credit system for the entire division.

Heather Hinman has a strong educational background in marketing and hotel and restaurant management. Heather obtained their Associate of Applied Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Paul Smith's College, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. After that, they pursued further education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, graduating in 1995.

Additionally, Heather Hinman has obtained a certification in "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" from LinkedIn in January 2019.
