Dr. Katheryn Plankenhorn currently serves as Nursing Faculty and Associate Professor at Ivy Tech Community College since August 2023. With extensive experience in nursing education and prenatal health, Dr. Plankenhorn has been a Prenatal Educator at Fayette Regional Health System since June 2017. Previously, Dr. Plankenhorn held leadership roles as Dean of Nursing at Fortis College-Columbus of Education Affiliates from June 2011 to January 2016 and as Dean of Nursing and Allied Health at Fortis College in Indianapolis from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Plankenhorn earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a focus on Educational Leadership and Administration from American Sentinel College between 2012 and 2016.
