Ashley McGill, M.Ed. has a strong background in education and has held various roles in different school districts. In 2019, they worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District, providing one-on-one support for a second grader and assisting the lead teacher with classroom activities. In 2020, Ashley worked as a PittEnrich Academic Tutor at the University of Pittsburgh, tutoring children in the Homewood and Hill District communities. In 2021, they started their student teaching experience at Pittsburgh Public Schools, where they completed two placements and also served as a Long Term Substitute Teacher. Currently, Ashley is an Autistic Support Teacher at Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, starting in 2023.
Ashley McGill, M.Ed., completed their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree with a focus on Dual Certification in Elementary Education and Special Education at the University of Pittsburgh from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Applied Developmental Psychology with a specialization in Elementary Education and Teaching at the University of Pittsburgh from 2018 to 2022. Ashley obtained their additional certifications in PreK-12 Special Education and PreK-4 General Education from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in April 2023. Before their university education, Ashley attended Conestoga Senior High School from 2014 to 2018.
