Gargi Sarkar, PhD, currently serves as a Research Associate II in the R&D department at Unique Biotech since May 2023. Previously, Gargi held the position of Assistant Professor at the Institute of Genetic Engineering in Kolkata, West Bengal, from February 2023 to May 2023. Gargi earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Enzymology, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology from Vellore Institute of Technology, completing the degree in 2023, and also holds a Master of Science in Applied Microbiology from the same institution, which was obtained between 2013 and 2015.
