James Sanders has a diverse work experience. James is currently employed at Uniquify Inc as an ASIC Design Engineer. In this role, they handle various projects across different technology nodes and works with different foundries such as TSMC, GF, Samsung Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, and Intel. James is experienced in all steps of the Physical Design flow, from synthesis to physical verification/timing closure. James has also led projects, interacting with customers and delegating tasks for block level development. James is proficient in using industry-standard EDA tools and has worked with the CAD team to develop in-house automation scripts using Perl. James has also acquired skills in Redistribution Layer routing for flip-chip designs, creating peripheral IO padframes, bump placement and mapping, and wirebond connection to padframe. Additionally, they have implemented designs including IP such as DDR PHY, PCIE, USB, SERDES, and PLL.
Before working at Uniquify Inc, James worked at Osaka-Ya Japanese Bakery as a Clerk/Baker for seven years. James excelled in a fast-paced environment and implemented processes to increase production.
Prior to that, James worked at Watkins Motor Lines as a Freight Handler for a temporary summer job between school semesters. James used heavy machinery to move freight and entered package information into a database.
At the start of their career, James worked at Elk Grove Unified School District as a Computer Technician Assistant. In this role, they assisted staff in repairing school computers and updating the network to include newly added computers.
James Sanders received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from California State University-Sacramento in 2012.
