Andrea van der Stouwe

Andrea Van Der Stouwe has a strong background in finance and accounting, with over 25 years of experience in various roles. Andrea currently works as the European Finance Director at uniQure, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were a Finance Manager at uniQure from July 2022 to December 2022.

Before joining uniQure, Andrea worked at Bedrock Manufacturing from November 2014 to June 2022 as the Financial Group Controller/Business Controller EMEA for brands Filson and Shinola. Prior to that, they worked at Elsevier from September 2013 to October 2014 as a Finance Manager in Group Planning & Analysis, and from June 2010 to August 2013 as a Business Controller in Group Financial Planning & Analysis.

Andrea also gained valuable experience at Danone as a Financial Controller from January 2008 to May 2010, at Royal Numico as a Corporate Controller from October 2004 to December 2007, at ICTS International NV as a Financial Group Controller from December 1999 to September 2004, and at the University of Amsterdam FEE as a Manager of the Accounting Department from January 1996 to November 1999.

Throughout their career, Andrea has developed strong financial acumen and leadership skills, making their a valuable asset in their current role as European Finance Director at uniQure.

Andrea Van Der Stouwe attended Hogeschool Markus Verbeek from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in BA. Their field of study focused on SPD I and II.
