Hemant Kumar Vyas

Hemant Kumar Vyas, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of medical and scientific research. Hemant Kumar is currently serving as the Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs at uniQure. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director at Alkermes, where they oversaw project development and generated medical and publication plans. Hemant Kumar also provided input into publication strategies and led multifunctional publication planning team meetings.

Hemant has also worked as a Manager at TESARO, Inc., where they developed and implemented publication plans and managed cross-functional teams. Hemant Kumar has experience with specialized software and ensured proper archiving and access of Medical Communication materials.

Hemant Kumar Vyas obtained their PhD in Life Sciences from the University of Rajasthan from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned an M.Sc in Biotechnology from Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), Bikaner between 2001 and 2003. Hemant Kumar also holds a B.Sc.(Hons) Ag. degree in Agricultural Sciences from Rajasthan Agricultural University, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. Hemant completed their senior secondary education certificate from Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1986 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications in subjects such as professional goal-setting, high-stakes communication, and interpersonal skills from LinkedIn.
