Kenechi Gabriel Ejebe, MD has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of clinical development and research. Starting in 2002, they worked as an Intramural Award Fellow at The National Institutes of Health. Later, they became a Sarnoff Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and then a VentureLabs Fellow at Flagship Pioneering. In 2010, they joined Massachusetts General Hospital again as a Research Scientist before moving on to Moderna as a Senior Scientist on their founding team. From 2013 to 2019, Dr. Ejebe served as a Physician in the Department of Psychiatry Residency Program at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Kenechi Gabriel then became a Board Director at the American Psychiatric Association and completed their fellowship as the Psychiatry Innovation Lab & SAMHSA Fellow. More recently, they held positions as an Associate Medical Director and then Medical Director of Clinical Development at Wave Life Sciences. Currently, they are set to join uniQure in 2023 as their Medical Director of Clinical Development.
Kenechi Gabriel Ejebe, MD completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology (General) at Carleton College from 1998 to 2002. From 2004 to 2010, they attended The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, earning their MD degree in Medicine. Later, from 2013 to 2019, they completed the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
