Sonia Zambrano Sevilla

Sonia Zambrano Sevilla is an experienced professional in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as the Manager of the analytical support team at uniQure since April 2022. Prior to this role, Sonia worked as a Senior Scientist at Galapagos from October 2020 to March 2022. Earlier in the career, Sonia held positions at Karolinska Institutet, including Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow from December 2015 to October 2020, as well as another stint as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics, Division of Matrix Biology from December 2013 to 2015. Sonia began the professional journey as a PhD student at Universidad de Sevilla, where the academic foundation in biochemistry was established from 2003 to 2009, culminating in a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
