Alex Shar

Alex Shar has over thirty years of experience in the technology industry. Alex began their career in 1981 as the Head of R&D Department at RUSSIAN AIRCRAFT ENGINEERING LTD, where they were responsible for a team of 47 hardware and software engineers. Alex then moved to IAI התעשייה לישראל לייעוץ in 1992 as a Hardware Engineer. In 2010, Alex became Co-Founder and VP R&D at Quartza Ltd., where they were responsible for creating the business plan, establishing product and technology roadmaps, and securing initial funding. Alex also held full responsibility for the design, implementation, customization, and delivery of Quartza's innovative free optical network link product. In 2013, Alex co-founded INVENCOM Technologies Ltd., where they built the product development organization from the ground up and managed a 15-person team of researchers, engineers, designers, and business consultants. From 2015 to 2016, Alex worked as CTO and VP R&D at RiT Wireless, where they participated in competitive analysis, market definition, product design, engineering processes, strategic partnerships, and fundraising. Alex also invented and developed new innovative technology and led the design and prototyping of it. Alex's most recent role was Electro-Optics Director at Unispectral from 2016 to present, where they are developing the next generation of compact cameras by equipping them with hyper spectral capabilities.

Alex Shar obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Jobs in Russia between 1976 and 1981. Subsequently, they obtained a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Jobs in Russia between 1976 and 1981.
