Dominic Waltzer has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Dominic began their career at Telstra Enterprise Services as a Service Centre/Help Desk Manager, where they managed a team of technical staff and team leaders, implemented new reporting systems, and restructured the team for increased flexibility. Dominic then joined IAG as a Service Desk/Help Desk Team Leader, where they successfully insourced IT support and managed a service desk team. At IAG, Dominic also served as a Service Management Team Leader and Support Services Manager, where they established new teams, implemented process improvements, and developed reports for monitoring service level agreements.

Dominic then worked at Talent2 as a Service Management Consultant, where their process analysis and improvement skills were highly praised. Dominic established a service desk and support model for a new payroll application, implemented best practice process frameworks, converted an existing support model to a new ITSM toolset, and developed an Excel system for tracking key processing dates.

Following that, Dominic joined World Vision as a Volunteer IT Service Management, where they contributed to IT service management. Currently, they are working at UniSuper as a Strategic Reporting Specialist, where they prepare analysis reports, designs and implements reporting frameworks, and collaborates with business and technology teams to provide automated and user-friendly dashboards for informed decision making with real-time data. Overall, Dominic has a strong background in service management, process improvement, and reporting.

Dominic Waltzer completed their high school education from Cheltenham High School between 1976 and 1981, earning a High School Certificate. In terms of additional certifications, they have pursued various ITIL® certifications from different institutions. In 2007, they obtained the Help Desk Manager certification from the Help Desk Institute. In 2009, they achieved the ITIL Foundation Certification Version 3 from APM Group. Dominic continues to expand their knowledge and is currently studying the ITIL® 2011: Release, Control and Validation certification from GogoTraining, which they started in August 2015. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL® 2011: Intermediate Operational Support and Analysis certification from UXC Training in August 2012.
