Lucy Canavan

Lucy Canavan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lucy began their career in 2006 as an Office Manager at Ipsos Australia before moving on to become an Account Manager at LinkMe. In 2008, they worked as a Consultant at Chandler Macleod, where they participated in a business process re-engineering project.

Lucy then joined Total Radiation Solutions in 2009 as an Analyst before transitioning to Jetstar Airways as a Business Analyst, where they completed the launch of the Jetstar Airways Policy Manual and worked on the implementation of the Safety Management System.

From 2010 to 2011, Lucy worked as a Product Manager at NGA.Net, where they successfully delivered a new product feature and identified revenue opportunities. Lucy then joined Melbourne IT as a Product Manager in 2012, responsible for managing profitability within the Digital Presence portfolio.

Lucy's next role was at RACV, where they held multiple positions, including Senior Mobility Products Manager, Experience Owner, and Digital Business Partner - Motoring & Mobility.

In 2019, Lucy joined Cbus Super Fund as a Product Owner, leading a cross-functional team to deliver digital transformation initiatives. Lucy later became a Data Culture Manager, supporting customer experience outcomes and reducing operational risks.

Most recently, Lucy has been working at UniSuper, initially as a Data Product Manager and currently as the Acting Head of Data Office.

In addition to their formal education, Lucy also obtained the certification of Section4 Certified Data & Analytics from Section4 in March 2022.
