Vanessa Lourey

Vanessa Lourey has a diverse work experience, starting in 2015 as a Senior Manager in Advisory Services at Pebble Payments Pty Ltd. Vanessa then moved on to MYER as a Program Manager, focusing on developing eCommerce strategies and payment innovations. In 2016, they joined Coles as a Senior Manager in Payments, leading product management and support teams while developing digital payment strategies.

In 2017, Vanessa worked at Bambora as the Head of Customer Experience for APAC before transitioning to Australia Post in 2018 as the Head of Product for eCommerce. At Australia Post, they led product and development teams and was responsible for a transformation project.

Vanessa then joined RACV in 2019 as a Senior Product Manager in Insurance, where they handled product strategy, regulatory workgroups, and digital channel overhauls. Vanessa continued their role until 2020 and then moved to UniSuper as a Senior Digital Product Owner, where they worked until March 2022.

After leaving UniSuper, Vanessa briefly worked at RISING Melbourne in 2022 as a Front of House Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Digital Channel Owner at UniSuper, starting in March 2023.

Throughout their career, Vanessa has demonstrated expertise in digital channels, product management, and strategy development.

Vanessa Lourey pursued their education with two institutions. From 1993 to 1997, they attended Deakin University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science. Following this, they enrolled at RMIT University from 2005 to 2007 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Project Management. In addition to their formal education, Vanessa has also obtained several certifications. These include the Advanced Yin Yoga Teacher Training from The Way of Yin in March 2021, the 50HR Yin Yoga Teacher Training from Breath of Heart in February 2021, the 75hr Women Centered Yoga Teacher Training from Eve Studio in January 2021, the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training from Good Vibes Yoga in February 2020, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification from CPR FirstAid in June 2022.
