Vijay Krishnan

Vijay Krishnan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Vijay started their career in 1999 as a Technical Support Engineer at ANCA CNC Machines and then moved on to work as an Infrastructure Specialist at The Woolmark Company from 2001 to 2006. In 2006, Vijay joined Transurban, where they held multiple positions including Senior Engineer, Network & Security, Architect - Network and Security, and Manager, Network & Security. At Transurban, they were responsible for various aspects of network and security services, strategy, architecture, compliance, and operations. In 2018, Vijay took on advisory positions, serving as an Executive Advisory Board Member for Cyber at Deakin University and a Member at CISO Lens. In 2021, they became an Industry Advisory Board Member for Cyber at RMIT Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation. Currently, Vijay is working as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at UniSuper.

Vijay Krishnan has a diverse education history. Vijay completed the New Leaders Development Program at the Melbourne Business School. Vijay also obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree from Monash University. Additionally, Vijay has certifications in various fields, including a CCNP certification from the Cisco Networking Academy. Vijay further expanded their knowledge in information security by completing the Certified Ethical Hacking course from the SANS Technology Institute and the CISSP course from ALC. Vijay also pursued further education at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, specializing in MAICD.
