Miguel Cervera

Miguel Cervera has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Ruby Developer Intern at INNKU in 2011. Miguel then worked as an Android Developer Intern at Noom Inc. in 2012 and as a Laboratory Assistant and Developer at ITESM from 2010 to 2013. Miguel also worked as a Developer and Partner at Engrana from 2012 to 2017, where they improved the core system and implemented necessary features for the franchise tool.

In 2013, Miguel joined Twitter as an Entry Level Web Engineer and eventually became a Senior Backend Engineer, working on projects such as the redesign of Twitter's profiles site and the implementation of the Birth Date feature. Miguel then moved to Stripe as a Senior Software Engineer in 2018, where they focused on API engineering and advocated for small users of the Stripe API as well as diversity and inclusion efforts.

Miguel returned to Twitter in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer and was later promoted to Staff Software Engineer in November 2022. However, due to a company-wide layoff, they chose to take a voluntary separation agreement. In 2023, Miguel joined Uniswap Labs as a Software Engineer and became a Board Member at Beyond Toxics, where they provided advice on technology matters to support the organization's mission of cleaner air and water in Oregon.

Miguel Cervera completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey, from 2008 to 2013. In addition, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for a year, in 2012.
