Dimitris Alifantis

Dimitris Alifantis has had a diverse work experience in the field of system engineering. Dimitris began their career at Korelko s.a in 1994 where they worked as a system administrator until November 1999. Dimitris then worked as a senior system engineer at Free lancing Consultant from 1996 to 1999. In 2000, Dimitris joined UniSystems as a DevOps Senior System Engineer, where they continue to work presently.

Dimitris Alifantis completed a two-year program in Software Programming at Korelko IEK from 1990 to 1992. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following qualifications:

- In 2019, they obtained the "Configuring and Operating a Hybrid Cloud with Microsoft Azure Stack" certification from Microsoft, and also became a "Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate."

- In 2018, Dimitris obtained the "IBM Cloud Private Technical 1" certification from IBM and the "Red Hat Certified System Administrator" certification from Red Hat.

- Dimitris achieved the "MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure - Certified 2016" certification in 2016 from Microsoft, as well as the "EXIN Foundation Certificate in OpenStack Software."

- In 2015, they received the "MCSA: Windows Server 2012" certification from Microsoft.

- Dimitris earned the "MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional" certification in 2014 and 2001 from Microsoft.

- In 2013, they obtained the "Oracle Solaris 11 Installation and Configuration Certified Implementation Specialist" certification, the "Oracle VM 3.0 for x86 Certified Implementation Specialist" certification, and the "SPARC T4-Based Server Installation Certified Implementation Specialist" certification, all from Oracle.

- Dimitris acquired the "MCSA1: Messaging on Windows Server 2003" and the "MCSA1: Windows Server 2003" certifications in 2008 from Microsoft.

- Most recently, in 2020, they obtained the "Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2019 Architect Associate" certification from Oracle.

- Furthermore, they achieved the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert" certification twice, in 2022.

Dimitris Alifantis also holds various Linux Professional Institute Certifications: "LPIC-1: Linux Professional Certification," "LPIC-2: Linux Professional Certification," and "LPIC-3: Linux Enterprise Professional Mixed Environment Certification."
