Stephen Lock is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in big data architecture and software development, currently employed at Meta since June 2021, where Stephen focuses on data pipelines for large-scale virtual reality applications within the Meta Horizon platform. Previously, Stephen served as Principal Big Data Architect at Unit 2 Games, managing analytics and data visualization for the Crayta online game creation platform, and held similar roles at Radiant Worlds and First Utility, where Stephen emphasized live data processing and innovative technologies. Stephen's career began at Lloyds Pharmacy, evolving through various software engineering roles, while holding responsibilities in team methodologies and project management. Stephen holds a BSc in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow.
