Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Unitary

Laura Hanu has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Computer Vision Engineer at Unitary since May 2020. In this position, they are involved in detecting unsafe content online. Prior to that, Laura worked as a Researcher in Deep Learning Safety at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford from December 2019 to March 2020. Lastly, Laura volunteered for the Rising Leader Programme at Team Up Hub from March 2014 to May 2014.

Laura Hanu attended Mihai Viteazul National College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned their high school diploma. Laura then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at King's College London from 2013 to 2016. Later, they attended Imperial College London from 2016 to 2017 to pursue an MSc in Biomedical Engineering with Neurotechnology.
