Tim Harsch

Tim Harsch has worked in the tech industry since 1998. Tim began at WinWay Corporation as a Computer Programmer and then moved on to Odyssey Thera as a Bioinformatics Developer. In 1999, they joined Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Project Leader and Bioinformatics Project Lead. In 2006, they moved to Lawrence Livermore National Security as a Computer Scientist and Biodefense Informatics Group Leader. In 2008, they joined Intrinsyx Technologies Corporation as a Sr. Software Engineer and in 2009, they worked as a Semantic Web Developer at Dell Perot Systems. In 2010, they joined YarcData as a Senior Software Engineer and in 2014, they moved to Cray Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2017, they joined Think Big, A Teradata Company as a Principal Engineer and in 2020, they became Engineering Manager at Unite Genomics, Inc.

Tim Harsch achieved a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis between 1996 and 1998. Prior to this, they obtained an AS in Computer Science from Mendocino College between 1994 and 1998. Tim also holds certifications from Udemy, Oracle, and Checkmarx, including Java Streams API Developer Guide (2019), The Coding Interview Bootcamp: Algorithms and Data Structures (2019), Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle 8 Database Administrator (2001), and Tim Harsch (2018).
