Paul Fassbender is the VP of Corporate Strategy, Regulatory & Government Affairs at Unite Us. Paul has over 18 years of experience in government and corporate affairs.

Paul started their career as an Associate at Hall, Booth, Smith & Slover. Paul then became the Chief Counsel for the Office of Senator Bob Corker. In this role, they provided legal and legislative counsel to the Senator.

In 2011, Paul became the Assistant Commissioner of Policy and Federal Programs for the State of Tennessee. In this role, they were responsible for executing economic development agreements with state and local governments.

From 2012 to 2022, Paul worked for Asurion as their Managing Director of Government Affairs and Senior Assistant General Counsel. In this role, they were responsible for the direction and management of North American government affairs operations, as well as advising on international government affairs operations. Paul also managed the escalated complaints division, which oversaw regulatory and consumer complaints.

Paul has extensive experience in people leadership, as well as public-facing roles on behalf of various companies. Paul is currently using their skills and experience to help Unite Us grow and succeed.

Paul Fassbender has a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications, Theirtory from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Paul Fassbender reports to Dan Brillman, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Apollinaire Amondji - Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis, Kurt Waltenbaugh - SVP, Insights Growth, and Molly Harris - Director of Compliance.
