Nick J. Wendling

Nick J. Wendling is an experienced IT professional with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and virtualization. Currently serving as Principal Cloud Engineer at United Airlines since December 2016, Nick oversees a global infrastructure of approximately 100,000 servers and handles migrations from Hyper-V to VMware vSphere. Previously, as an Architect and Lead Consultant at Allstate, Nick designed virtual infrastructure for a Fortune 100 company, supporting up to 80,000 users, and executed hybrid cloud initiatives using AWS. Additional experience includes roles at USANA Health Sciences, American Red Cross, Intermountain Healthcare, and the US Army, demonstrating expertise in systems engineering, IT infrastructure management, and disaster recovery. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering from Weber State University and an Associate of Science from Salt Lake Community College.
