Rita Hamby PMP, CISSP, is an experienced IT security and governance professional with a strong background in project portfolio management, risk management, and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Data Security and Governance at United Airlines since 2019, Rita previously held senior management roles at Baxter Healthcare from 1998, where accomplishments include implementing global security governance solutions and managing cross-functional teams for legal compliance projects. Prior roles also include Manager of IT Security at Waste Management and Manager of Security at US Robotics, with a focus on establishing centralized security functions and developing comprehensive information security strategies. Rita holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from DePaul University and an MBA in Information Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
